From this week with foley recording we also recorded voice overs. There were only two characters, the killer and the victim. Apart from that we needed creepy laugh with a spooky small nursery rhyme. For the killer’s character we already had Alex (our group member) whose voice was kinda perfect for the character, And for the voice of Paul’s character we thought Tod would be fine, but after the recording when we heard it did not match with the character even after applying the pitch shift and bit of low pass filter. As Paul character is a mid age guy where we expect his voice to be more deep and bassy, so we had to look for someone whose voice would fit.

At the end of this week Mr. Alex came to see how the project is going so far, He was sort of happy with the recordings but he also pointed out few mistakes that we did not realise. It is really important to have actors for the voice overs to actually act the scene to get the feel and that is why we were not satisfied about the voice overs even though it was synced and everything still something was missing. So, we got the voice overs done and in last few days we added some background music and it made the clip so much better and more scarier, the whole feel of the video became horror and for the first time doing post production we were pretty satisfied with the outcome.
